With James Gunn‘s DC Universe just around the corner, fans are starting to nominate who they believe should be the face of the franchise and its most iconic heroes.
David Corenswet will be playing the titular character of Superman AKA Clark Kent in the 2025 film Superman, with many waiting to see who will portray the rest of the Justice League.
In a post on Facebook shared by “The Mother of All Nerds”, fan-cast-inspired concept art of Elliot Page as The Flash has gone viral with many DC fans sharing their reactions.
With Ezra Miller portraying the famous speedster in Snyder’s past “DCEU” universe, many believe the character needs a fresh face and hopefully a less controversial one.
Some fans believe Elliot Page should take the role, believing his strong acting skills could bring a new perspective to the character.
However, some think that the DC Universe might decide to shift from Barry Allen’s The Flash and highlight the likes of Wally West, Jay Garrick, or another character.
As with any fan cast, there has been some scepticism following the viral artwork portraying the actor in the speedster’s super suit.
“I would quit DC completely,” one responded.

Many fans in the comments believe the role belongs to Grant Gustin, who portrayed Barry Allen for 9 years on The CW show The Flash.
